Sweet fluffy donut recipe

Ingredients for making fluffy sweet donut:

For mass:

 1 kilogram of type 1 wheat flour

 250 milliliters of warm milk

 250 milliliters of warm water

 250 grams of sugar

 200 grams of softened margarine

 10 grams of dry biological yeast (1 sachet)

 4 eggs

To the roof:

 1 american cup of milk

 4 tablespoons of icing sugar

 condensed milk to taste

 grated coconut to taste

How to make fluffy sweet donut:

Dissolve the yeast in milk and leave for 1-2 minutes to activate the yeast. Place this mixture in a bowl together with the water, eggs, sugar and margarine and beat to mix well and obtain a smooth cream.

Tip: We advise you to prepare this recipe in a mixer with the bread dough accessory, so it will be easier to mix everything. If you want you can also add 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence.

Then add the flour little by little while stirring. Beat very well until the flour is fully incorporated and you get a smooth dough that comes off the bowl. At this point, shape it into a ball, cover the bowl with a damp dish towel and let it rest for 1 hour or until it doubles in size.

Tip: If you are preparing this recipe without a mixer, place the dough on a counter when it starts to get hard to beat. Knead and knead with your hands until it does not stick, shape it into a ball and let it rise as indicated.

Take the dough, knead a little to remove excess air and divide into three or six rolls. Use them to shape one or two braids, as in the photo, and place them in a greased and floured form. Let stand for another 30 minutes. Turn the oven on at 200ºC.

Tip: Don't knead the dough too much at this stage so it doesn't get hard.

Put your sweet donut to bake in the oven at 200ºC for 20-30 minutes or until golden. Meanwhile, prepare the topping simply by mixing the sugar with the milk and the condensed milk - the amount of condensed milk is to your liking, so add it until it is sweet and thick to your liking.

Tip: You don't need to brush the dough with egg before baking, as it will be very shiny and cute with the milk topping!

Remove the bun from the oven and brush with the bun topping. Sprinkle the grated coconut and taste and return the dough to the oven for another 5-10 minutes at 200ºC, to dry the topping syrup a little.
