Ingredients for making passion fruit truffle with condensed milk:
500 grams of semisweet fractionated chocolate
1 teaspoon of butter
6 tablespoons of concentrated passion fruit juice
1 can of condensed milk
truffle molds
How to make Passion fruit truffle with condensed milk:
Start by preparing your passion fruit truffle with condensed milk by mixing the passion fruit juice and condensed milk by hand or in a blender.
Transfer to a saucepan, bring to medium heat and cook stirring constantly until it does not stick (like a passion fruit brigadeiro). Turn off the heat and set aside, this will be the filling of your homemade truffle!
Tip: If you want a more yellow passion fruit cream, add a few drops of yellow liquid or gel food coloring.
Then prepare the rest of the truffle: chop the semisweet chocolate and melt in a bain-marie, on low heat, or in the microwave in cycles of 30 seconds, taking care not to burn. When it is well melted add the butter, a trick to make the chocolate shiny.
Tip: Use fractionated chocolate as it doesn't need to be seasoned.
Allow the chocolate to cool a little, then brush truffle cups with the chocolate. Set aside in refrigerator for 10 minutes to harden and repeat once or twice more. This way you will get a thicker shell in your passion fruit truffle with condensed milk.
When the chocolate layers are hard, add a little passion fruit brigadeiro and cover with the remaining chocolate (it may be necessary to reheat). Reserve in refrigerator for 1 hour.
Tip: Put the passion fruit brigadeiro in a pastry bag to make the truffles easier to fill.
After that time your passion fruit truffle with condensed milk will be ready! Carefully remove from the molds and wrap in plastic wrap or with a nice wrapping. Keep it in the fridge for a maximum of 10 days and let us know what you think of this recipe!
