Ingredients for making pineapple pavé with cornstarch biscuit:
Cream for pineapple pave:
1 can of condensed milk
1 cup of milk (240 milliliters)
1 box of cream (without whey)
3 egg yolks
2 tablespoons of butter
1 tablespoon cornstarch (cornstarch)
Assembling the pineapple pave:
1 natural pineapple in cubes
1½ cups of sugar (240 grams)
1 packet of cornstarch biscuits (200 g)
How to make pineapple pavé with corn biscuit:
Start by preparing your simple pineapple pavé by making the pineapple syrup. To do this, place the pineapple in a pan together with the sugar, bring to medium heat and cook for 15-20 minutes or until it thickens. Turn off the heat and set aside.
Tip: It is important that the pineapple release its water and form a sweet syrup, which will be used to moisten the cookies. If the pineapple dries out, add a little water.
In another pan prepare the cream of the simple pineapple pave: place the condensed milk, the cream, the butter, the egg yolks and the milk with the cornstarch dissolved in it. Place over medium heat and stir until thickened. Turn off the fire.
Tip: If you want, you can flavor the cream with a few drops of vanilla essence. It is also helpful to sift egg yolks to avoid the egg smell and taste.
Finally, start by assembling the pineapple pavé with cornstarch biscuits: moisten some biscuits in the pineapple syrup or a little milk and cover the bottom of a baking dish with them. Add a little pineapple and top off with a layer of white cream. Repeat until all ingredients are exhausted.
Tip: Save some pineapple to decorate this dessert with cornstarch biscuit.
Decorate your pineapple pavé with cornstarch biscuit in the way you like and reserve in the refrigerator for 1 hour, so that it is very cold. Serve and enjoy this incredible frozen dessert!
